Blue Wren - white paper

A trial printing from 1962, which was initially rejected as inferior to the Harrison white paper printing, but issued in 1965 due to a shortage of 2'5d stamps.

Apart from the differences in shade, the inscriptions, particularly "BLUE WREN", stand out very much more clearly on this variety.
