Francisco Antonio Moreno and Escandón was an outstanding character of the second half of the eighteenth century in the Spanish colony of the New Kingdom of Granada .. Смотреть далее »(Colombia). He was born in Ladybird (Colombia) on October 25, 1736, and died in Santiago de Chile on February 22, 1792, and is considered the pioneer of the defense of the historical heritage.
The National Library of Colombia was the first public library founded in America in 1776. The current building was designed by the architect Alberto Wills Ferro in 1933 and was declared National Monument of Colombia in 1975.
